Finding Streams In A Desert

Hello, dear one!

When you’re stuck in a situation, and nothing seems possible at the moment, what do you do next? If that situation is a desert, how do you discover the water there?

Allow me to inspire you with a real story.

During a network meeting recently, one young lady shared a story of how she successfully turned an impossible situation around by trusting the Universe’s provision.

Her husband is a registered nurse and was challenged with work because of the Covid-19 vaccine mandate. He lost his long-term hospital job because he didn’t believe this vaccine was safe and effective for him.

However, the couple believed the employment doors were wide open in the spiritual realm.

The Universe loves courage and sent him a two-month travel nurse assignment, and now all they needed to do was to find an RV for the two of them plus their German Shepherd.

Because of the delayed shipment and production shortage, the cost of renting an RV was exorbitant, so they decided on purchasing a new one.

By now, they only had five days left before he started the job at the new location, which would take a full day to drive to.

They were in the desert now!

But both of them believed the Infinite Intelligence would bring them streams in this desert: God finds a way where there is no way.

The young lady not only affirmed this thought, but she also acted with her faith.

She put all their necessary things in two piles. One pile was for “going,” and the other for staying behind. She let go of her control and handed it over to the Holy Spirit.

The minute she cast her burden on the Universe, the ideal RV appeared in their vision on a parking lot.

Next, they needed to secure a loan for the transition, and the salesperson referred them to a perfectly matched loan expert. The whole purchase felt like cruising on a calm ocean.

It took them five days to locate a dream RV, obtain a loan effortlessly and drove to the new job site on time.

The Bible said, “Behold, I’m doing a new thing: now it shall spring forth; do you not see it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and streams in the desert (Isaiah 43:19).”

When it seems impossible for a man’s will, turn to the Supreme Intelligence and let the God-power rescue the situation.

I applied this principle on a recent family trip, and it worked!

On the way to Mount Shasta, the air-conditioner in the Jeep went off in the heat of 92 degrees.

We stopped by a Jeep Dealer in Redding, California. The earliest appointment they could squeeze us was for the following Wednesday, but we needed help NOW!

As my husband was persuading the repair men, I hydrated my husky/cattle dog with water in a shady area and affirmed: God is opening doors for us that no man can shut. God is taking care of us now.

Out walked a lovely service lady. As we chatted about what happened, she looked at my dog and said, “I have a lab at home. We need to do something to get this guy comfortable immediately.”

Shortly after, the service department told us that they’d do us a favor and repair it in about 90 minutes.

As we were killing time in the nearby park, they called us to pick up the car.

It wasn’t 90 minutes; it was only 40 minutes!

When God jumped in to help, the miracle came on God’s clock, not men’s clock.

I chuckled and said thank you to the Universe for my lesson: No matter how impossible the situation might seem, God knows the way out for me. God found the streams to rescue us while we were stuck in a desert.

God knows what you need before you ask for it (Matthew 6:8).

The next time when you’re caught in a desert situation, give God a try and watch Him bring you steams of water, the wonders before your eyes.
