Hello, dear one!
Have you noticed a pattern in your thoughts, decisions, and behaviors? Have you been repeating similar experiences with different people at various times?
Understanding the law of correspondence will solve the enigma of life.
The law of correspondence suggests the patterns of the physical world, such as the changes of four seasons mirroring your inner world, which plays out the ups and downs throughout your day.
It was best explained with the ancient wisdom:
“As above, so below.
As within, so without.”
The above is heaven, the spiritual world as you’re a spiritual being first. The below is what you’re experiencing in the physical world.
The within is your inner world, your beliefs, feelings, thoughts, and mood. The without is your manifested outer world, health, wealth, and relationships.
As a nurse, the law of correspondence has shown me the correlation between the body and the mind.
The children with chronic hearing loss or recurrent ear infections had problems at home. The bitter fights between parents or unsettled feelings cause them to block the unpleasant outer world, manifesting in diminished hearing capacity.
For more than 15 years, I have observed patients who battled undiagnosed chronic lower back pain. They all had one thing in common: Worrying about money and the future.
As for myself, my inner neediness spawned a world of neediness outside.
I was hired by needy companies, worked with needy co-workers, and squandered much energy with needy patients.
Off work, I filled my emptiness with needy friends who had endless blame, complaints, disappointments, and challenges.
Unaware of the law of correspondence, I lived in a perfect balance of inner and outer needy world.
Fortunately, I had been a spiritual junkie and dared to walk a journey within.
I began by carefully examining my beliefs behind major decisions and analyzing the results of my actions led by my beliefs.
At first, it was heart-wrenching to see my mindless patterns of behavior.
Like many loving mothers, I expected my son to attend college as the next level of education, so I prepared him by dragging him to multiple classes that he resisted.
Is college his idea or my imposed idea on him?
Would a college degree ensure his success and happiness in life? Does he have a definitive career plan before squandering my hard-earned money in a college?
Why does he have to go to college for continued education? After all, I was the least educated career woman after college. For years, I didn’t read and study consistently to grow myself, living paycheck to paycheck.
With humility, since my son began in middle school, I openly discussed how my lack of self-awareness had resulted in my thoughtless actions, and I encouraged him to think through any major decision.
Purely by the law of correspondence, as I grew in consciousness, my son became more conscientious in his choices.
Through diligent research, he decided not to apply to colleges before high school graduation. He wasn’t clear about his career direction!
With an SAT score under 1500, he would be welcomed by most colleges. However, he owned his decision and resisted the urge to go along with his friends.
Since I was a nebulous college student, I admired his inner strength. Without an aim or satisfying work, a college degree may set him up for reduced self-confidence.
If you want more abundance of all good, applying the law of correspondence will help change your patterns of thoughts, and your changed behaviors will harmonize your inner and outer world.
My friends have asked me why I bother to write and post these articles, without monetary reward.
Are you kidding? I’m so free and abundant today because I broke my patterns of only doing things that produce immediate and monetary rewards!
By the law of correspondence, if I want a different result, I must implement a different thought and behavioral pattern and do things that I wasn’t willing before.
I would rather write for myself without money than write for money without SELF! My reality becomes enriched as I grow inside.
How you’re treated by others mirrors how you feel about yourself inside. If you want to improve the outer reality, work hard inwardly.
There is no coincidence. Life always happens FOR you, as it states,
“As above, so below.
As within, so without.”
