Do You Allow Your Rich Good (18/22)?

Story 18:

At a multi-day seminar hosted by the motivational guru Tony Robbins, a young man stood up and claimed that he wanted to attend Tony’s Mastery University, which required $20,000.

The problem? Funds!

Out of curiosity, Tony asked about his career, and the young man hesitated, “I play guitar. I’m also a student at Juilliard School in New York.”

Tony immediately asked him, “Do you have ten to twenty songs you have composed from the past?”

The young man’s eyes lit up, “I’ve written hundreds of songs.”

“Great!” Tony asked, “ Can you put ten best songs together on a CD?”

The young man shouted, “YES!”

Tony then faced the audience and commanded,

“If this young man puts ten songs on a CD and sells for $10 each, will you help him? If it’s a yes, use ATMs in the hotel and get $10 cash out, and don’t forget to give him your business card so that he can mail his CD to you.”

During the seminar break, attendees rushed to ATMs at the hotel. Some had to borrow business cards from others so that they could write down their addresses and give them to the young man with their $10 cash.

When the next day came, Tony called the young man back on stage again. This time the young man carried a backpack as he walked towards Tony.

Tony asked the young man again in front of the audience, “We have more than 3,000 people in this room. How much did you receive yesterday?”

The young man brimmed with joy as he lifted his heavy backpack, “Around $30,000!”

Wow, almost everyone supported his dream!

The audience cheered, and the building was imbued with connected spirit.

Tony smiled at the young man, looked around the audience, and said,

“When you want something, don’t tell yourself oh I can’t. Ask yourself, what can I do to get it?”

Tony went on to encourage the audience to open their hearts, with courage. Resist the urge for all excuses as to why they couldn’t get what they wanted.

Lesson:

Allow yourself to receive the good opens the money door.

Whatever excites your heart, it’s a confirmation and an assignment to you.

Tony’s teaching was simple:

Focus on what your heart wants. Once you’re clear with what you want, trust the universe and let it work for you. Your job is to get clear with what you want, not how to get what you want.

I applied his teaching with a hospice chaplain, and it worked magically!

When I managed a hospice team, I worked with a most loving Chaplain. Her dream was to travel to Israel and visit all the places Jesus had been.

The challenge was the trip expense, which totaled about $8,500, an intimidating amount.

We did a vision board in my office. What if we booked it one year ahead and analyzed the cost that was needed to meet the trip?

In the center, we drew a circle and wrote $8,500.

We then drew one vertical line and one horizontal line to complete four corners.

On the top left corner, we wrote $708, which was her monthly obligation to meet $8,500.

On the bottom of the left corner, we wrote $354, which represented what she needed to pay every two weeks upon receiving a paycheck.

On the top right corner, we wrote $177, which was needed weekly to manifest her dream trip.

On the bottom right corner, we wrote $23.29 per day if she could save or earn more of it daily.

When we finished her vision board, the Chaplain was elated and jubilantly said, “I can totally do this! I can take extra weekend shifts and babysit in my neighborhood.”

Within a week, she booked her trip.

She didn’t even need to work weekend shifts or babysit. Several church members who had known her for years couldn’t wait to support her dream. They each donated and totaled $5,800, which paid close to 70% of her trip.

She jokingly said, “When I booked the trip, God gave me a 70% Divine discount.”

It takes courage to acknowledge what you want, and it takes more courage to resist the thought of impossibility while your dream seems so surreal.

Both the young man and the Chaplain demonstrated non-resistance to their dreams. As they trusted and allowed themselves to enjoy the good, sure enough, the universe couldn’t help but conspire to complete their dreams.

When you self-doubt a desire, it’s like driving a car with one foot on the gas peddle and the other on the break. Unless you release the break, everything is always stuck there.

If you keep your heart wide open to receive new ideas and opportunities, the right people will rush in to manifest your dream as the universe always has your back.

God made you a masterpiece. Let yourself have the highest and the best.

Now open the money door to affirmations:

I AM inviting money ideas.

I AM allowing my rich good to come my way.

I AM expanding my heart to draw the highest and best.

Let the money truth be engraved in your heart.

Allowing yourself to the rich good is MONEY.
