Believing In Seeing The Money (7/22)

Story 7:

I have a disclaimer here:

You may get irritated with this story, but I included this story intentionally to raise our money awareness. I challenge you to read through to get the point.

From 1977 to 1987, ABC Television Network in America ran a successful series, The Love Boat.

The lead actor Gavin MacLeod, who played Captain “selfishly divorced” (in his own words) his wife Patti. The Hollywood’s neon lights led him astray from his roots.

Devastated, Patti flew coast to coast to seek help from the best psychiatrists in the country. Nothing seemed to change the situation until one day, a friend invited her to a Christian prayer group.

Bit by bit, Patti learned to lift her eyes and sought help coming from the Lord (Psalm 121: 1-2).

She turned to God and asked Him to restore her marriage.

Her heart always knew the real Gavin, a kind, loving, and generous soul.

Every night, she would set two dinner plates, acting as if her ex-husband Gavin would share a dinner with her.

She did this night after night, for almost four years. One Sunday, she received a call from Gavin.

When he showed up at her front door the following night, she said, “Come’n Honey, your dinner is getting cold.”

The scene she had envisioned for years had become a reality.

They remarried and lived happily ever after.

Lesson:

If you dare to believe in receiving wealth before it arrives, it must come.

You’ve heard the expression “seeing in believing,” but can you change your mindset and turn this expression around to “believing in seeing?”

I told Patti’s story to challenge you to a concept, believing something you desire in your mind before seeing it with your eyes.

Everything is a seed of imagination. The chair you sit on was once a picture in someone’s head.

The trick is not to control how money comes to you but to concentrate on what you want to experience.

About 10 years ago, I met a young lady at a new-age consciousness conference.

She dropped out of college and pursued photography. Of course, her choice didn’t please her parents who were reticent with her art career.

However, she saw herself traveling all over the world and taking exotic pictures. She thought about the possibility while she was showering, walking, and eating. Her passion was so ardent that she couldn’t differentiate her reality from her dream.

One day, she saw a travel magazine in a coffee shop. She called all the airlines that were advertised in the magazine and offered to take free pictures.

After multiple calls and interviews, one airline agreed to use her service and provide stand-by free airfares in return.

She took the opportunity and ran with it. Initially, wherever she landed, she could only afford to stay in college dorm rooms.

As her pictures in the travel magazines got recognized by the airline corporation, they began offering her to stay with stewardesses in hotel rooms.

From her success with one airline, her notoriety earned her other airlines invitations.

In less than five years, this young lady had traveled all continents and 30+ countries, with free airfares, free hotels, and often free meals.

Money comes in various revenues and forms. What a rich life this young lady was experiencing, doing what she loved and receiving a plethora of provisions!

She understood that money is energy, an irresistible FUN energy exchange. She exchanged her talents for a life she longed for.

She didn’t fixate money on a degree, a job, or a company. Rather, she believed in a possible lifestyle and saw it from the Universe’s vision.

She anticipated money could flow to her from anywhere and in all forms.

Like this young photographer, Patti also understood a spiritual law: FAITH is when you’re sure of what you hope for, and with the conviction for what you haven’t seen (Hebrews 11:1).

From human eyes, Patti’s marriage was over as it was publicly acknowledged. But her heart saw a spiritual reunion in God’s eyes.

She LOOKED UP to the ONLY SOURCE that would turn her ship around.

Instead of following the crowd practicing seeing in believing, she DARED herself to believing in seeing.

Money is a tool to support what you desire. Your desires are God’s gifts. Don’t suppress them; that’s self-destruction. Express them constructively.

Money gravitates to people who have faith in what they want before it manifests; it takes courage and discipline to practice believing in seeing.

Now, open the money door with affirmations

I AM a money magnet.

I AM prospering with a dream life.

I AM showered with endless money ideas and possibilities.

Let the money truth be engraved in your heart.

Your belief in seeing before seeing to believe is MONEY.
