Which Investment?

Hello, dear one!

When you hear the word “wealth,” what does it come to your mind? Does it often lead you to think of money and investment?

There are two kinds of investments, external and internal. Which one you choose to focus on will have its consequences.

I was brought up and brained washed by external investment, such as sought-after college majors, well-compensated jobs, stocks, currency, and real estate.

Living in this 3D world, all of them have added value to my daily comfort. But, do I own them? Will external investment guarantee my happiness?

I pondered working hard on my job, which was to labor and enrich a corporation, trading living hours to exchange for financial security.

I began slowly examining my beliefs. As I accumulated more so-called external wealth, did I increase my inner peace and a sense of self-fulfillment?

No matter how good the job is, any company is disposable. The pension could be wiped out as it did to many corporations like Enron. As for the job, do I own the job, or does the job own me?

The stock market is heavily manipulated; who’s controlling it? Certainly not me!

The real estate that I own is a lie. Can I take a property with me when I die? I’m just taking care of it for the time being. The property belongs to God, who assigns a caregiver for each season. I just happen to be the caregiver now.

The 2020 lockdown raised my awareness of investment. Anything external, like a house, a job, and even loved ones can be taken away in a disaster.

So, what is wealth?

Someone said this about wealth that changed my mindset:

Wealth is what you have left over after you’ve lost everything.

If you’re wiped out with all external things that you think you own, including your friends and family, what do you have left over for you?

What did Jesus mean when he said the kingdom of heaven is within you?

We can at least start with the basics: You’re the center of your universe. You’re the main character of your story. You’re the only person who exists in your book, from the beginning to the end.

Self-investment requires solicitude and deep reflection on life; it can be a preposterous concept to the crowd who favors the community.

However, your freedom comes in when you’re no longer in need of someone or something. You alone are good enough for YOU.

As you invest in yourself, you’ll begin to remember who you truly are, way beyond this carbon physical body in an infinite spirit.

You’ll begin to understand why Jesus said not to be anxious about your life. But to seek first his kingdom and all these things shall be yours as well (Matthew 6:25).

Many of us like myself have lived life backward, seeking external investment to obtain peace inside, rather than seeking self-investment to live with wealth inside out.

To know God is to know SELF. The more I seek myself, the more faithful I have become to honor my truth. I’m now convinced that we were all born wealthy before we lost ourselves.

The Universe is a law-based system. If you follow nature’s law and get in the flow with it, your life must be wealthy in all ways.

I resonate with Author Bert Winn, “What comes at you comes from you.”

If you accept this proposal, you’ll become the master of your destiny because you’ve attracted all events into your life. The good news is that you can always adjust your trajectory as you go forward by raising self-awareness and investing in self-learning.

If you’re curious enough about learning yourself, get an education. Not the education from the main system, but the kind that blesses you with self-actualization.

When you invest in yourself, you’ll become a powerful, creative, and compassionate being, who lives and moves in Spirit.

The selfish and needy people will repel you, and you’ll attract the ones who serve you and grow you.

You’ll discover your gifts while working on your job. And if the job ends, you’ll never have to beg for another job because your gifts will open doors for you.

And best of all, you’ll never fear loneliness. The absence of the need to be with someone and do something sets you ultimately FREE.

I wish you the most amazing and unfolding self-investment journey!
