Why Relax About A Problem?

Hello, dear one!

I’m sure you’ve heard of an old saying, “If you’re stuck with a problem, sleep on it.”

This advice was gold for me recently.

For no advanced notice, my cell phone stopped calling services despite its ability to send and receive text messages.

Of course, my initial step was to call my cell phone carrier company.

After 27-minute waiting, a friendly lady came on the phone to rescue me. I thought!

After obtaining all the information she needed, she began running a high-tech diagnostic check on her computer screen.

While I was hopeful with my phone savior, she broke the news that chilled my spine, “Ma’am, your phone is no longer compatible with our services. You need to purchase a new phone.”

What? From no phone service to a new phone?

Resisting to any change, I begged my phone savior, “Is there any way I can pay you a one-time fee so that I can make calls for a while? I need time to search for the next phone.”

“No, Ma’am. Nothing will help you. You need a new phone. I can provide you the addresses to your nearby phone shops if you’d like.”

She was calm and firm, darn!

At that moment, I was fully aware of my frustration and immediately accepted it.

My awareness saved me again from any attachment.

“Relax. Let it go. All is well,” I said to myself quietly and repeatedly.

The least I could do at that moment was to be kind to myself, and to the lady on the phone who was just following her company instructions.

I thanked her and wished her a good day.

I chuckled as I remembered a quote from Albert Einstein, “You can’t solve your problems by using the same thinking that got you into those problems in the first place.”

What do I do next? Sleep on it, and let Spirit guide me.

I didn’t search online or go to a store to look for a phone.

I knew better now what it meant by “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

The universe has my back. What human sees as a problem, God sees as a solution. My job was to relax my mind and allow the next moment to unfold itself without me manipulating the outcome.

I slept on my problem and texted to communicate for the next two days.

On the third day, an idea came to my head, “What if there is a way not to buy a new phone and fix the problem? All I need is to make calls work. What is the easiest path for me now?”

In my relaxed mood with no expectations and attachments, I updated my phone as usual. Then, I watched a few YouTube clips on how to enable cell phone services on mobile phones.

I followed the instructions, turned various buttons on and off, and reset my phone.

You probably guessed it!

I didn’t need to buy a new phone, or switch to a new service company! My phone was back to call effortlessly.

We often lean on experts and the opinions of others to address our immediate concerns.

We set goals and plan in detail to achieve them. There is nothing wrong with strategies and diligence. But, how often do we first consult with the higher intelligence within us?

There was a reason why God told Jeremiah, “Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3)”

Whenever we have a perceived problem, it’s from a human perspective.

If we consult humans with a problem, we may get stuck in it, collectively. We may even sink deeper into the problem as we pay more attention to it.

In my phone case, the lady who represented the carrier company didn’t intend to deceive me.

I saved myself from purchasing a new phone because I intuitively knew a better way was somewhere waiting for me.

Einstein was brilliant! Whatever the problem you have, health, wealth, or relationship, you can’t solve your problem with the same mind that created your problem!

One way to get rid of your problem is to relax.

We’re essentially energy beings, constantly vibrating at various frequencies.

When your mind is relaxed, and your thoughts are more positive, you’ll vibrate at a higher level of frequency which will help you attract solution ideas easier.

When you worry about your problem, you’re powerless, like a toaster without a plug. Nothing will be done.

If you relax, you’ll tap into the Divine source. It’s like a toaster plugged into a universal electric outlet. Now your toasts are possible.

And you become your savior!

So, the next time when you face a challenge, will you relax into a solution?
