Why Is Your Dream Delayed?

Hello, dear one!

I hear your frustration.

You know what you want and work hard towards it, but it’s not happening. Or, you don’t see the immediate physical result.

There are always two events happening simultaneously with your desire: Your physical and spiritual manifestations of your desire.

Since we live in the 3D world, we tend to forget the universe is always working 24/7 being the scene to support our desires.

Here is my neighbor’s story to enlighten you.

My neighbor had lost his wife to a cancer battle many years ago. On his healing journey from grief, he decided to let God guide him to the next partner.

One year around Christmas, he was invited to attend his grandchildren’s performance at their Elementary school.

He was assigned a perfect seat in the middle of a row toward the stage.

Before the show started, he went to the bathroom.

Upon returning, his seat was taken by an extended family. While they were hugging and laughing, he thought to himself, “I’m alone. Why don’t I just let them sit together?”

The show was about to start, and he had NO seat!

A school teacher kindly took him to the first row. There was an empty seat on the side, next to the aisle.

He gratefully sat down, next to a beautifully dressed lady.

This lady happened to be the choreographer of the girl’s dance.

They greeted each other during the break.

As they chatted, they both felt like catching up with an old friend. The conversation flowed effortlessly.

After the show, they chatted more as they walked to the parking lot. They stayed there chatting until the parking lot was almost empty.

They exchanged numbers with each other.

The lady had ended a long relationship a year ago and recently moved to the state. Because of a spiritual retreat, she ended up staying in the area.

They continued their conversations in the parks, trails, theaters, and dinners.

They both realized that they were Divinely led to each other.

A few months after they met, they tied the knot with blessings from both families and loved ones.

For all the years my neighbor was alone, God was arranging all events to bring him the woman of his dream.

His physical delay was a spiritual promotion!

God loved my neighbor so much that he took away the assigned seat so that he could be seated with the soul mate of his life.

This also happened to Joseph in the Bible.

He was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers, and later he was put into prison because his master’s wife prosecuted him.

While in prison, he interpreted a dream and helped free King Pharaoh’s cupbearer.

Joseph explained how he was wrongfully imprisoned and asked the cupbearer to kindly remember him and get him out of prison.

However, after the cupbearer restored his position as Joseph prophesied, he didn’t remember Joseph and forgot about him (Genesis 40:23).

Joseph stayed in prison for two full years, but he never lost his faith.

One day, in desperate need, the cupbearer remembered Joseph and asked him to interpret a concerning dream for King Pharaoh.

Impressed with Joseph’s wisdom, the king promoted Joseph.

Joseph’s life was instantly transformed from a prisoner to the second most powerful man in Egypt.

Like both my neighbor and Joseph, if there is a delay in your life, remember that God is working behind the scene for you.

Whenever God delays a promotion, he’s preparing you for something bigger than you can imagine.

Watch God turning your pain into a blessing and your darkness into light.
